JUNE 5, 2009: Step to a Cure 5K organizers present a check to the American Cancer Society Relay for Life for $2,100, which the race generated through sponsor contributions and runner registrations. MAY 20, 2009: Coke, Subway co-sponsor Body Success Challenge - CHALAN LAULAU - In support of promoting a healthy and fit lifestyle, Coca-Cola Beverage Company (Micronesia), Inc. and Subway Restaurants partnered with Gold’s Gym in holding this year’s Body Success Challenge. MAY 4, 2009: Transpac Group donates $2,500 to Eucon Int’l School – GUALO RAI, Saipan –– In a continuing effort to support education, Transpacific International, Inc. and its affiliated companies, Coca-Cola Beverage Company (Micronesia), Inc., Foremost Foods Saipan, Subway Investments Corp., and Glimpses of Saipan, Inc. recently donated $2,500 to Eucon International College. APRIL 24, 2009: Transpac group donates over $7K; staff volunteer support to ARC walkathon – GUALO RAI, Saipan –– The Transpacific International Inc. group has reinforced its commitment to the American Red Cross Walkathon through a large volunteer delegation and over $7,000 in cash and product donation to the annual fundraiser. FEBRUARY 11, 2009: Agana Elementary School Visit – Gary Schiff, Director of Business Development and Philip Camacho, Operations Manager visited the school on February 11, 2009. Both Gary and Philip talked to the kids in the after school DEEDS program about the importance of establishing early childhood healthy eating habits. Afterwards all the kids were presented with Subway Fresh Fit Kids Meals. FEBRUARY 3, 2008: On February 3, 2009, Subway hosted a "Super Cr3w", America's Best Dance Crew Season 2 Winners meet and greet at the Barrigada location. Customers were given Super Cr3w posters and were able to take photos with the crew. Concert was held at the Father Duenas Phoenix Center in Mangilao on February 6 & 7. DECEMBER 8, 2008: The 2008 Teachers of the Year were presented with Subway® gift certificates in recognition of their valuable achievements as educators. Banded together behind the Subway® banner, the awardees hold their framed certificates of recognition as they are joined by colleagues and officials in the Public School System. DECEMBER 6, 2008: MDM Cover Girl search contestant Monica Bunoan - Winner of the Subwa®y card contest with 320 points. Gary Schiff, Subway® Director of Business Development presents a check for $300 at the MDM Cover Girl Search on December 6th at the Globe. NOVEMBER 15, 2008: Subway® supported the Youth Festival of Football organized by the Northern Mariana Islands Football Association on Nov. 15, 2008. October 9 , 2007: Third grade physical education students of William S. Reyes Elementary School enjoy their SUBWAY® sandwiches during their fieldtrip to the restaurant chain’s Chalan Piao outlet where they were taught about healthy eating habits. The field trip was arranged by their PE instructor, Brandon Concepcion. August 23 , 2007: Judy Wei, Eucon International College vice president, receives a check for $2,500 from Marcos Fong, SUBWAY® Investments Corp. managing director. The donation was made through the government’s Education Tax Credit program August 17 , 2007: June 1 , 2007: Andrew Santos is all smiles as he holds his certificate for a six-foot SUBWAY® sub sandwich that he won for being the 50th SUBWAY® customer during the launch of the “SUBWAY® Fresh Fit” meal at the SUBWAY® Gualo Rai restaurant on May 25.
